Acoustic Flooring System
A large Acoustic flooring system Babich Constructions was contracted by MJCeilings to fabricate on a Commercial site in Sydney’s CBD.
This flooring system consisted of a H2 LVL structural frame (Hyspan F17), which was levelled and fixed to the slab appropriately. After constructing a ramp for wheelchair and trolley access, we then insulated the entire system with Earthwool Acoustic batts and sheeted the entire frame with x2 layers of 24mm Fibre Cement sheeting.
We were given a 1-3mm tolerance in our flooring system, so everything had to be to the millimetre! This was a huge job for Babich Constructions, however proved extremely rewarding.
Timber Protection Rails
Timber protection rails which Babich Constructions was contracted to fabricate and install for Foxville Projects on a commercial Site in Sydney’s CBD.
The timber used was Australian Blackbutt, a dense native hardwood which was dressed all round and mounted on the walls to prevent trolleys from damaging any walls or skirting should they make impact. This was another rewarding job and the client was extremely happy with the end result.
Pedestrian Bridge and Staircase
External pedestrian bridge and staircase made in Lisarow by Babich Constructions, contracted by Albatross Constructions. This was made using H3 treated pine with a timber balustrade and handrail. This was made for easier access from the clients factory to their carpark.
