Internal Grey Ironbark Solid Hardwood Staircase
Here are some pictures of a Babich Constructions staircase fitted in Bossley Park. The staircase consists of a solid exotic hardwood timber called ‘Grey Ironbark’. The Treads and Stringers were made of this hardwood, further complemented by pine risers painted by the client to suit their taste.
Ironbark is a very dense, Australian native hardwood which is extremely difficult to work with. Needless to say, this was a large job however I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Babich constructions worked around the clients taste and needs to achieve the perfect end result.

Barn-Style Wardrobe
Here is a picture of an open wardrobe made for a client in Seven Hills by Babich Constructions. The client requested a raw, barn-style open, freestanding wardrobe to store clothing and personals, consisting of a coat hanger rack and a shelf. This was a small fun project which was rewarding for both Babich Constructions and the client!
External Solid 45mm Merbau Staircase
External staircase supplied and fitted by Babich Constructions in Bossley Park. The stair is made completely from solid 45mm Merbau, a durable hardwood which is best suited for external applications. The client originally had a narrow staircase and wished to widen the stairs to the same width of the deck. This was yet another rewarding job, working with the client to achieve the result they wanted whilst still working within their budget.
Timber Decking
Decking job in Bossley Park completed by Babich Constructions. The decking is 20mm Northern Box Hardwood timber, which we constructed to the client’s design. We had custom steel posts made to the clients request for this job (posts fabricated by Mario and Sons Steel Fabrication) which were concreted in the ground to ensure a longer life expectancy for the deck, as the previous decking had rotted over time.
Pine MDF Internal Stair
Pine MDF staircase (to be carpeted), supplied and fitted in Frenchs Forest by Babich Constructions. With birds-mouthed stringers and internal structural support by what carpenters refer to as a ‘sawtooth’ stringer in the middle of the stair to break the span, the limited space for fixings had our client questioning how we would fabricate this staircase to his liking. However this was not an issue for Evan from Babich Constructions, keeping the price within the clients budget we were able to provide a stair structurally fit and aesthetically pleasing.
Timber Fence
Timber panelling fence repair Babich Constructions made in Wahroonga for a client after a car had lost control and taken down the owners existing fence. The timber used was treated pine fence panels to match the existing fence.
Maple Staircase
A solid 32mm maple staircase supplied and fitted by Babich Constructions in Edmondson Park. The client wanted a stair with a platform landing for access into their garage on their split level home.
